A Special Acknowledgement for Jim Swinfield

Recently, Bill Fanning shared a wonderful story with the Club about 91-year-old Jim Swinfield and his incredible performance in a recent scramble event.
Playing alongside Bill and Geoff Greenaway, Jim contributed an outstanding 55 points towards their winning total of 111, including a brilliant 12 foot birdie putt on the 16th! 👏
Beyond the scorecard, Bill describes Jim as a true gentleman, always keeping up with play, helping his playing partners and continuing to enjoy his golf at 91 years young.
An incredible effort Jim, and a great story to share with our golfing community.⛳

Awesome course and relaxed environment. Course kept to a very high standard and the pro shop is mostly concerned about you having a great time rather than ear bashing you on what you can and can't do.

Had a lovely day at the course. The pro shop staff were very helpful with organising a tee off time and reshafting my club. Afterwards we enjoyed a few drinks in the bar area overlooking the course which was a great way to spend the afternoon. The prices are very reasonable and I can highly recommended the summer twilight golf, which is very affordable.
